Hyaluronic Acid:
Hyaluronic acid is a natural component, a polysaccharide of human connective tissue, that regulates skin moisture levels. It is located in the basal layer of the epidermis between the keratinocytes and the network of collagen fibers and holds water reserves. It can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. Over time, water reserves decrease, resulting in intense, dry, and gradually losing skin firmness. Hyaluronic acid in cosmetics, depending on its molecular weight, either remains on the surface (HMW) offering immediate smoothing and softness, or penetrates deeper providing long-lasting hydration (MMW), filling wrinkles from the inside, (SMW) and restoring elasticity and volume to the skin.
Small Hyaluronic Acid: A small molecule of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), with molecular weight in the range 37k-56kDa. It has
not only good moisturizing property, but also activities such as transdermal absorption capability, nourishing the skin deeply, etc. It can restore youthful skin by withholding water, improving skin elasticity and decreasing skin wrinkles.
Medium Hyaluronic Acid: A medium molecule of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), with molecular weight in the range 10 kDa ~ 1 MDa. It has a long-lasting moisturizing effect, and nourishes the skin.
Biosaccharides: It is a water-soluble mixture of polysaccharides (from fermentation but also of marine origin) and glyco-oligosaccharides.
It acts as an immediate and long-lasting tightening component, gives softness to the skin and has an anti-pollution effect. The duration of the intense lifting sensation it gives lasts up to 1.30 hours. The Biosaccharide Mixture provides the following benefits:
-Instant firming effect
-Prolonged smoothing action
-Anti-pollution properties
-Helps preserve the skin microbiome
