Before lighting the candle, the wick should be trimmed to 0.5 cm. The first time, we’ve done this for you! After the first burn, you can trim the wick with scissors or easily with your fingers.
The first burn should last at least 3–4 hours until a characteristic wax pool forms across the entire surface. The first burn is very important to ensure the candle burns evenly and doesn’t leave residue on the sides, because CE’RI candles have “memory.”
Do not leave the candle burning for more than 4 hours. To extinguish the candle, dip the wick into the liquid wax and return it to an upright position. Avoid blowing out the flame. If the flame becomes too large during burning, extinguish the candle and trim the wick.
Place the candle on a stable, flat surface that can withstand heat. Keep it away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects. Stop burning when 0.5 cm of wax remains and never leave the candle unattended!
